(1)Your job title in the company
To mention your job title will be immediately identify what you are in, the person who speaks with you can know what level of education and profession you are, and show your image to talker.
For example:
I am a cardiologist in McGill Hospital that you can know the person has high education background and a heart expert.
I am salesman in clothes shop that you will think the person maybe has a secondary education or college background and work in sales field.
So, to mention your job title in the company is effective way to start the introduction to build your image.

(2) What company you serve and what you do for the company
To indicate your company will let the person who speaks with you to know what industry you serve and give a brief expression for what you do that will have a very clear view to talker.
For example:
I serve a finance company for gathering the data from the clients and analyze the clients’ data to provide suggestions to the credit department for client loan or not.  

(3) To indicate your job mission with your motivation
Job mission maybe is similar with other relative positions, but if indicating your job mission with what motivation you have, it is very different from others. Because different people work in a job has different attitude and behaviors, someone perhaps does not has motivation for job, just working. If express your job mission with your motivation, that will give a different impression to talker.

(4) Asking a question to the person you are talking
Interactive communication will make the first introduction successful due to the talker participate the interflow and make the first introduction go in the next communication step and give a first deeper impression. Also asking a question to talker, you can know about the person you speak with.

a)I did not get to deliver my first introduction as planned. I felt too shy to go up to anyone at my first event.
 

b) At the Fairmont career day event, I did in fact deliver an introduction but it was not the same I had planned at all. It was more of an informal conversation therefore I didn’t need to sell myself to the person. I didn’t need to tell the person what I could do for a company or how I am seen in the office. I just greeted the person, then asked what job he was applying for. I then told him that I was an intern and I was currently studying at TAV college in Internet Marketing. We then continued the conversation.

a) If so, how did you do it?

my introduction was not clear enough when I met with one of Wink Strategies employee about an internship. Instead of focusing on digital marketing, I told him I was a sales analyst on maternity leave and I was also doing some consulting with entrepreneurs. It was quite confusing so next time I know I have to focus on one activity only and stick to it.

b) If you had to readjust, say how and why.
Because he was a digital marketing professional, I would have said I am a consultant I help entrepreneurs specialized in cosmetics acquire and retain customers by designing and implementing creating digital marketing strategies.
It is clear, no need to tell about my past company because my job was very different from what I am doing now and what I want to do in the future.
